Vivo, skipping its Vivo S13 and S14 series after Vivo S12 series, has launched its Vivo S15-series in China. The company also launched its Vivo TWS Air alongside the Vivo S15-series. The Vivo S15-series includes a vanilla Vivo S15 and Vivo S15 Pro. Both phones carry a 120Hz display and triple rear camera and run on Android 12 out of the box. Vivo doesn’t ship its Vivo S-series in India, so we’ll probably not see the Vivo S15 series launch in the country. The Vivo TWS Air tuned by Vivo Golden Ear Acoustics Lab has an IP54 rating. Here’s a quick look at the Vivo S15-series and Vivo TWS Air’s price and specifications.

Vivo S15 launched in China in three storage options – the 8GB RAM/128GB unit is priced at CNY 2,699 (approx Rs 31,000), followed by the 8GB RAM/256GB model at CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 34,500), and the 12GB RAM/256GB variant at CNY 3,299 (approx Rs 38,000).

Vivo S15 Pro comes in two storage options – 8GB RAM/256GB priced at CNY 3,399 (Approx. Rs 39,000) and 12GB RAM/256GB at CNY 3,699 (Approx. Rs 42,600). Both Vivo S15 and S15 Pro will go on sale in China starting May 27th.

Vivo TWS Air retails at CNY 199 (Approx. Rs 2,500) and will be sold starting May 31st in China.

Vivo S15 flaunts a 6.62-inch full-HD+ AMOLED panel that supports 1080×2400 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor paired with an Adreno 650 GPU. Vivo S15 packs up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It draws power from a 4,500mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging.

Moving to the camera, the Vivo S15 has a triple camera setup at the back, including a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. It has a 32MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls. Vivo S15 has an under-display fingerprint scanner for security and boots Android 12-based OriginOS out of the box.

Vivo S15 Pro comes with a 6.56-inch full-HD+ display whose AMOLED panel supports 2376×1080 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. At the heart of the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset paired with Mali-G610 GPU. It packs up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. A 4,500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging powers the Vivo S15 Pro.

Vivo S15 Pro house a triple camera setup at the rear, featuring a 50MP (OIS) primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP monochrome portrait sensor. A 32MP camera on the front takes care of selfie and video calling needs. Vivo S15 Pro has an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. It boots Android 12-based OriginOS out of the box.

Vivo TWS Air comes with a 14.2mm driver that is tuned by Vivo Golden Ear Acoustics Lab. It has three tuning modes – Strong Bass, Clear Voice, and Clear Treble. The TWS Air comes with two microphones and a noise reduction technology powered by artificial intelligence (AI) that claims to suppress ambient noise by up to 45 percent. Vivo TWS Air comes with Touch controls and quick access. It features a gaming low latency support, with a latency rate of 117 milliseconds.

The Vivo TWS Air earbuds come with a charging case that houses a 430mAh battery, claimed to last for 25 hours. On the other hand, each earbud comes with a 29mAh battery that can provide up to 4.8 hours of battery life. The charging case also supports fast charging via a USB Type-C port. The company claims a charge time of 10 minutes, delivering 1.5 hours of usage on the Vivo TWS Air.
