You'll still have to buy the charger separately.

Apple will host its traditional September event on September 7th this year, where the brand will unveil its iPhone 14 series. This lineup will likely include an iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. A new leak has surfaced online, citing that the Pro models will feature a new 30W charger, adding weight to a previous rumour from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo that a 30W GaN charger for the Apple iPhone is coming soon.

Previous leaks have disclosed that iPhone 14 Pro models could finally say goodbye to the notch, and the iPhone 14 series is to be made in India two months after China-made ones are out.

The iPhone 14 Pro series may use 30W charging power? Recently, a charger brand began to send new charger products to the media, and it will advertise in the experience video of the iPhone 14 series.

According to leaker DuanRui, a charger brand has begun sending new charger products to the media for iPhone 14 series’ advertisement. The tipster also says that ‘the data cable given by the charger manufacturer is still the Lightning interface,’ as Apple plans to switch to a USB Type-C port in 2023 with iPhone 15 series. However, we might see a USB Type-C to a lightning port adapter support for the iPhone 14 series.

Separately, tipster Kioriku also suggests that iPhone 14 series will support 30W charging when the battery percentage is at 0, and the speed will drop down to 25-27W afterwards. If true, this will be a significant upgrade over the iPhone 11 series’ 18W and iPhone 12/13 series 20W charging abilities. Buyers will have to purchase the 30W charger separately, of course.

(3/4) I predict two iPhone 14 Pro models’ ultra-wide cameras will upgrade to 1.4µm (vs. iPhone 13 Pro’s 1.0µm). CIS (CMOS image sensor), VCM (voice coil motor), and CCM (compact camera module) have a significant unit price increase in this upgrade, with about 70%, 45%, and 40%.

Another iPhone 14 Pro news is its capability to take better ultrawide shots in low lighting conditions. This comes from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who suggests that iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will feature 1.4-micrometre pixels in their ultrawide cameras, compared to 1.0-micrometre pixels seen on iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max. These new camera components, according to the analyst, will be more expensive than the existing ones.
