Hyper today announced the release of two new HyperDrive hubs, allowing 13-inch MacBook Air and MacBook Pro M1 models to be connected to two 4K displays via HDMI, no driver required, plug and play.

Hyper said that the two hubs combine DisplayPort Alt Mode and SiliconMotion InstantView plug-and-play video technology to provide dual 4K HDMI video output for MacBook M1 models through a single USB-C connection. After connecting the hub to the Mac, the user should open the HyperDisplay application that appears on the desktop.

The hub is available in two versions: a three-in-one version with two HDMI ports and a USB-C power connector, which can provide up to 100W pass-through charging, and a 10-in-1 version with the same ports and another . Includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack, USB-C, two USB-A ports, a Gigabit Ethernet connection, microSD and SD card slots, and a Gigabit Ethernet port.

Please note that on two hubs, one HDMI port supports 60Hz and the other is limited to 30Hz, which may be a deal breaker for some users.

Accessories manufacturer Hyper today announced the launch of a new 6-in-1 hub for iPad models with USB-C ports, including the latest iPad Pro, iPad Air and iPad mini. The main functions of the hub include a fit design and built-in media shortcut keys. The three-in-one hub is priced at US$129.99 in the United States and can be purchased from Hyper’s website, while the 10-in-1 hub is priced at US$199.99.
